The application window for 1st Year, 2024 has now closed and we will not be accepting any further applications for this year.

The application process for 1st Year, 2025 will commence in the autumn. Further details will be posted here on September 1st, 2024.
Please note that applications for 2nd – 5th Year, 2024 can still be submitted until May, 1st 2024.

Class Sizes:
Class sizes do not exceed 22-24. Class sizes for option subjects would generally be much lower. We are committed to offering a variety of subjects to our students which results in class sizes remaining small, affording our students the best possible opportunity to excel at their chosen subjects.
The students in CUS are encouraged and expected to achieve their maximum potential. A wide variety of subjects are offered at both junior certificate and leaving certificate level.

Discipline:
In CUS we believe in good discipline in order for our pupils to develop and achieve their maximum potential. Discipline in CUS is firm, but fair. Class teachers, class heads and Deans of Discipline deal with day to day discipline issues. The Principal and Deputy Principal deal with more serious issues. Parents are notified in writing of any serious disciplinary issues.

Supervised Study:

Supervised study takes place four evenings per week (Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri) from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm. There is a small additional fee for this service.

A monthly report of attendance is sent out to all parents at the end of every month.
