Junior Debating:

The Junior Debating Club meet every Thursday at lunchtime for alternating debates in English and Irish. The Club is open to any junior student (from 1st – 3rd year) who has an interest in public speaking or debating. The teachers encourage students to come and take part as it has huge benefits for their written and spoken English.  Their confidence also improves greatly as they become more comfortable speaking in front of their peers. The students really enjoy this time and we have had some very interesting discussions on a wide range of subjects.
