Dear Parents and Guardians,
Due to the extreme nature of Storm Éowyn and the confirmed threat of multi-hazard weather events on Friday, 24th January, as issued by Met Éireann, the National Emergency Coordination Group (NECG) has advised that all primary and post-primary schools in red warning areas will remain closed for the duration of the red warning.
We encourage families to keep up to date with the latest weather warnings through national and local news bulletins, particularly in case of any changes to the warning status in your area.
Further guidance from the Department of Education will be provided should there be any updates to the NECG’s advice, and we will keep you informed accordingly.
The well-being of our school community remains our highest priority. We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to take care during this time.
Stay safe.
