Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope you are all keeping well.
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your continued support for the staff and students of Catholic University School. It is wonderful to have our students back on campus. We are delighted to have had such incredible Leaving Certificate results from the Class of 2024 and a very positive start to the new academic year. Your parental support and involvement has played a crucial role in this success. It has also been truly wonderful meeting many of you during our recent Parents’ Evenings for our 1st, 3rd, and 6th year students.
As we look ahead, I would like to remind all parents that you are warmly invited to attend the 1st Year Mass on Monday, September 16th at 5:30 PM in the University Church. It will be a wonderful occasion to come together as a CUS community and celebrate the beginning of this important journey for our 1st-year students.
I would also like to remind all parents that our ‘Open Day’ for incoming First Year students for the academic year 2025-26 will take place on the morning of Saturday October 5th both on campus and in the Shelbourne Hotel. In excess of two hundred parents for have registered to date which is a wonderful reflection on our school, our students and our staff. Registration for our ‘Open Day’ is available on the CUS website under the admissions tab.
Our school is now open each Saturday morning from 9:00 am for our Sixth Year students and information on ‘Supervised Study’ for 3rd and 5th Year students will be forwarded to parents early next week.
Additionally, please note that Tuesday, September 17th will be a Marist Schools CPD day. As such, there will be no classes for students on that day.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support. We look forward to continuing our wonderful partnership throughout our upcoming academic year.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Kind Regards,
Mr. Clive Martin.
