Headmaster’s Christmas Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the close of another wonderful year at Catholic University School, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support of our students and staff. This year, we again celebrated a beautiful Carol Service on Monday evening in St. Anne’s, a fitting end to our term which reminds us of the joy and unity of our CUS community.

In keeping with our Marist tradition, the partnership within our CUS community—comprising students, staff, parents, and past pupils—has once again demonstrated the power of collective service. Together, we have raised over €25,000 for St. Vincent de Paul, a testament to our shared commitment to fostering a spirit of generosity and care. Such acts of service not only strengthen our school but also play a vital role in shaping the character and future of our boys.

This term has been marked by growth and achievement. It has been truly inspiring to witness our boys embody our Marist values which are nurtured through the combined efforts of home and school. Your steadfast involvement ensures that these principles remain at the heart of our mission.

I would also like to extend a warm thank you to CUSPA, our Parent’s Association, for their pivotal role in supporting the school. CUSPA’s dedication and efforts enrich our community and contribute significantly to the opportunities available to our boys.

Our teachers and staff endeavour to create an environment where each boy can thrive. Their remarkable commitment, bolstered by your trust and collaboration, forms the foundation of Catholic University School’s success.

As we prepare to celebrate Christmas, may the joy and peace of this time fill your homes and hearts.

On behalf of everyone at Catholic University School, I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May the year ahead bring health, happiness, and countless blessings. Thank you once again for your vital role in Catholic University School.

With warm regards and every blessing,

Mr. Clive G. Martin
Headmaster
