This week, we will celebrate Catholic Schools Week 2025, with the theme Catholic Schools: Alive in Christ. This is an opportunity for us, as a school community, to reflect on our shared values, embrace our Marist ethos, and inspire our students to live their lives to the full in Christ.
What’s Happening During the Week?
Each day, we will focus on a specific theme:
- Monday: Life to the Full in Our Community of Friends
- Tuesday: Life to the Full in Our Faith Community
- Wednesday: Life to the Full in Our Families
- Thursday: Life to the Full, for and with Others
- Friday: Life to the Full for the Common Good of All
The Religious Education Department, along with the Ember Team, has planned meaningful activities for students, including assemblies, classroom reflections, creative projects, and prayer services. We aim to ensure that all students experience the joy and hope of this special week.
Our Marist Ethos
This week is a chance to reflect on the Marist pillars of presence, simplicity, family spirit, love of work, and following in Mary’s way. By weaving these values into our activities, we can create a shared experience that strengthens our school’s ethos and community spirit.
Thank you for your support in making Catholic Schools Week a meaningful and enriching time for all.
