What are the fees?

The fees for academic year 2019/2020 are currently €5,700 per annum for the secondary and primary schools. After school study, which is optional, is €400 for four nights study for the year.

How long is the school day?

Classhead commences at 8.40 am with classes commencing at 8.50 am and finishing at 3.40 pm. There is a twenty minute break in the morning and lunch is from 1.00pm to 1.30 pm.
Wednesday afternoons are designated to sports.
The school is open from 7.30 am and the canteen is open from 8.00 am.

What if my son doesn’t want to play rugby?

A.
All students in CUS are encouraged to participate in rugby. However, there are a number of other school sports including cricket, tennis, swimming, athletics, martial arts and chess which CUS students participate in.

Where does the student population come from?

The CUS student population is derived from all parts of Dublin, south and north and from counties Wicklow, Louth and Meath.

Are there any Marist priests in CUS?

The school is under the Trusteeship of the Marist Order. The Principal is Mr Clive Martin. Fr John O'Gara sm is the school Chaplain.
